Jonty Gorley has made one change to his squad for the trip to Halifax Panthers this weekend.

Ryan King, who rejoined Haven from Halifax a few weeks ago, is excluded from the travelling party through the terms of his transfer.

Veteran centre Chris Taylor, however, is fit to return to the squad for the tough game in prospect at the Shay.

In the Halifax camp Simon Grix has also named his 21 man squad for Sunday’s Betfred Championship clash and has made three changes.

Dan Fleming is in line for his second debut with the club while Will Maher and James Saltonstall return to contention with Brandon Pickersgill, Cole Oakley and Kevin Larroyer dropping out.

Halifax include two former Whitehaven players in Australian winger Lachlan Walmsley and French half-back Louis Jouffret.

The Whitehaven squad is: Dave Eccleston, Chris Taylor, Curtis Teare, Karl Dixon, Alex Bishop, Liam McAvoy, Tom Walker, Connor Holliday, Lachlan Lanskey, Dion Aiye, Jamie Doran, James Newton, Lasarusa Tabu, Guy Graham, Perry Singleton, Jake Bradley, Lucas Castle, Josh Rourke, Oscar Doran, Sam Hayes, Ross Ainley.

Halifax: James Woodburn-Hall; Lachlan Walmsley, Zack McComb,  Ben Tibbs, James Saltonstall, Louis Jouffret, Joe Keyes, Adam Tangata, Brandon Moore, Dan Murray, Ben Kavanagh, Matty Gee,  Jacob Fairbank, Kyle Wood, Will Maher, Will Calcott, Ryan Lannon, Tom Inman, Eribe Doro, Jake Maizen, Dan Fleming.
