Barrow have signed the 27-year-old former Morecambe striker Courtney Duffus on a one-year deal.
The 6ft 2ins Duffus joined his home-town club Cheltenham in 2012 and two years later joined the youth section at Everton from where he had his first loan spell at Bury in 2014, playing three times.
He was at Oldham between 2017 and 2019 but only played six times, although he had 25 games on loan at Waterford and scored 10 times. He had earlier been capped three times for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s.
His longest and most productive spell was at Yeovil from 2019-2021 where he scored 18 times in 57 appearances.
A spell in the National League with Bromley (five goals in 18) was followed by a move to Morecambe in 2021 but he has only played seven times and also had one game on loan last season with Stockport.
Bluebirds boss Pete Wild said: “Courtney is a player I know well, having worked with him earlier in his career at Oldham and having played against him many times since.
“At his best, he is a very athletic and physical centre forward who can score goals and I think he is a really good fit for our squad.
“I believe he has all the traits and attributes to really rejuvenate his career with us and I’m really looking forward to working with him
Duffus said: “I’m really happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started. I’ve worked with the Gaffer before and I’m really looking forward to helping to continue with what he has already started here.
“I will contribute to the team with hard work and goals and I’m really excited to hit the ground running when we all return to pre-season in a few weeks.”
