
Cumbria have added a second wicket-keeper to their squad for Sunday’s NCA Trophy clash with Northumberland at Allendale.
Haverigg’s Drew Postlethwaite will travel in the 12 along with Kendal’s Finley Richardson who played in the opening two victories over Herefordshire and Oxfordshire.
Postlethwaite has previous but if he is selected on Sunday that will be his played for the county in the Minor Counties Championship that will be his one day debut.
Northumberland lead the group following emphatic victories over Lincolnshire and Herefordshire, who they trounced by 255 runs at Jesmond last Sunday.
They followed up at Banbury yesterday by beating Oxfordshire by two wickets when they had a revised target victory.
The home county got to 232-7 in their 50 overs and at 219-8 from 43.1 overs Northumberland won the contest.
Cumbria were the spare team yesterday and in the other game Herefordshire (200-8) beat Lincolnshire (196 all out) by two wickets. Lincolnshire visit Keswick in the final group game on June 25.
