A bridge in a West Cumbrian village will be closed for repairs next month.
Work will start on Blaze Bridge in High Lorton on Monday and expected to take between six and eight weeks to complete.
Contractors will be on site from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and the road will be fully closed for all vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians with no access allowed. There will be a signed diversion route in place.
The work, carried out by Cumberland Council, includes rock armour placement, a rebuild of the retaining wall and approach wall, drainage improvements and repointing of bridge elements.
