
A man has been charged with two counts of theft from vehicle and two counts of vehicle interference after police received reports of a man walking around Carlisle trying car doors.
Ryan Hall, 21, of Shaddygrove Road, Carlisle was arrested on July 2 in connection with offences alleged to have been committed in Abbots Road, Park Road, Rufus Road and Nunnery Close. He was charged with the four offences later that same day.
Hall was charged without bail and is to appear at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court on July 18.
Anyone who suspects they may have been a victim of a similar crime, or anyone who has CCTV which may help with the investigation, is asked to come forward.

Police are reminding people of the importance of making sure their vehicle is locked, particularly overnight, and that no items of any value are left on display in the vehicle.
