Maryport have ruled the roost among the Under-13s in the West Cumbria Youth League.
They have gone through the season unbeaten and in doing so landed the League title and the League Cup.
The quality of this particular group is that they were able to produce some really outstanding attacking rugby.
It was perhaps significant that seven members of the squad were chosen to take part in the Futures programme organised by Wigan Warriors.
A member of the coaching team said: “The coaches and the whole club are very proud of this team and the sky’s the limit.”
