Cumbria’s Development side start their final fixture of the season today against Northumberland CCC Development Team.

The match is being played over two days, ending on Wednesday away at South North CC.

Nathan Waterston, who had a good knock in the last game against Wales, will again captain the side and two members of the current senior side – Freddie Fallows and Sam Sharp are also included.

Workington’s rise to be title challengers in the Cumbria League’s Premier Division sees opener Jake Daniel and talented young wicket keeper Sam Bates included in the line up.

Reagan Scott, whose maiden century for Cockermouth Seconds earned him a first team call-up with the Sandair club, is also included for the first time.

Team: Nathan Waterson (Furness, capt), Freddie Fallows (Kendal), Jake Daniel (Workington), Faizan Ghumman (Furness), Ollie Greenwood (Penrith), Sam Bates (Workington, wk), Sam Sharp (Cockermouth), Josh Stirling (Carlisle), Reagan Scott (Cockermouth), Josh Brown (Cockermouth), Louis Backhouse (Kendal).
