Plans have been revealed for a new West Cumbrian brewery and tap room.
An application for a licence has been lodged for units on a Workington industrial estate to sell alcohol and entertainment by Chris O’Connor and Associates.
The Preston-based firm, which says it is a beer manufacturer, wants to turn three units at Enterprise Court on Lakes Road into the venue.
It has applied for a premises licence to Cumberland Council for the venue, which would be to the left of KFC and behind Millcroft vets.
It wants to be able to put on entertainment, including plays, films, live and recorded music between 8am and 10pm Sunday to Wednesday and 8am to 11pm Thursday to Saturday.
On bank holiday weekends, it would be open until 11pm on Sundays and extend its hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
