Current Workington number one Connor Bailey won his fourth and final outing to finish with seven and a bonus while 16-year-old Luke Harrison won the reserve race and finished with five points from his three rides.
Elsewhere last night West Cumbrian Richard Lawson put in another solid guest performance, top-scoring for Birmingham in their 51-39 defeat at Scunthorpe.
Lawson won three of his six rides and kept Birmingham in the contest, although comfortably beaten in the end.
In a National Development League meeting at Edinburgh the injury-hit Monarchs Academy side edged out Berwick Bullits 46-44. Carlisle-based Mark Parker scored two points.
Steve Boxall, who was the final rider added to the line-up for today’s Susan Roper Memorial meeting at Workington on his come-back to the sport after six years out, top scored for Berwick with 13.
