A Stagecoach double-decker bus took a wrong turn in West Cumbria – and the driver got more than they bargained for.
The bus was heading into Embleton, on its way out of Cockermouth, when it is understood the driver did not take the first turning off the A66.
Unfortunately the plan to take the second turning did not pay off – the road past Embleton Spa is not suitable for HGVs or as it turns out, double decker buses.
The bus ended up wedged with its entire underside crumpled and the bus was stuck….
