Former Seaton Rangers forward Grant Reid has signed a new two-year deal with Workington Town.
Reid, 25, signed his first professional contract ahead of the 2023 season and feels he proved to himself that he was up to League One.
He told Cumbria Crack: “Until I suffered a neck injury I was getting plenty of time on the bench and I was enjoying it.
“I think we had a good season, finishing in fifth place and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the club so was delighted to be offered a new two-year deal.
“On a personal level I thought the Easter win over North Wales and scoring my first try against Oldham were my highlights.
“I do feel it is an honour and a privilege to be playing for Workington Town and am really looking forward to getting stuck into pre-season training.”
