Kendal Town were beaten by the weather in their latest North West Counties League game.
They should have been at Litherland REMYCA but the game was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
The Mintcakes remain third in the table, six points behind leaders but with two games in hand.
But between them are Wythenshawe, on the same games as Kendal but with five more points.
They are not due back in action until next Saturday when they visit Ramsbottom United, old friends from the Northern Premier League.
Kendal have been drawn away to Burscough in the second round of the Macron Cup on November 18. Jimmy Marshall’s men were beaten semi-finalists last season.
Also missing out because of the weather at the week-end were Cleator Moor Celtic. Their West Lancashire League game at Burscough Richmond.
They hope to return to action next Saturday at home to Coppull Utd.
