Kendal Town have sold out ahead of Saturday’s big North West Counties Premier League at Parkside Road against Bury.
Club officials put a ceiling of 1,400 on the crowd and the all-ticket policy has been completed with all of them snapped up.
Chairman Michael O’Neill said: “Looking at post codes for the people who have bought their tickets it seems like a fairly even split between Kendal and Bury.
“It is obviously going to be a very busy day for us and we are really going to be stretched with out volunteers involved from noon until the Bury people leave.
“We have added food outlets and a can bar on the ground, in addition to the usual bar facilities because it’s going to be really hectic on the day.
“We came to the figure of 1,400 because we thought that was what we could safely accommodate to the ratio of stewards.
“As for the game itself it’s going to be a really tough one for us with Bury top of the league and they have been going really well over the last month, adding experienced NPL players to their squad.
“But our manager Jimmy Marshall has been able to bring in a new face to the squad and we go into the game on the back of a really good 4-2 win at Ramsbottom on Saturday which kept us third in the table.
“We are hoping for a good Kendal performance and that everyone enjoys a safe and entertaining afternoon at the game.”
Defender Patrick Allington has joined the Mintcakes from Lancaster City and goes straight into the squad to face Bury.
