Dinner in the Café at Lowther

From November 23 – for 10 nights only – £40 per head plus drinks

On winter evenings, the Courtyard at Lowther Castle is magical. The hornbeam pillars sparkle in their winter ‘hairnets’, the firebowl flickers with flame and the shadow of the castle ruin itself looks on, moody and impressive.

Offering a rare chance to enjoy this wonderful evening setting, the Café at Lowther is opening its doors for 10 nights only between November 23 and December 22.

On the menu is a delicious three-course dinner based around the theme of A Hint of the Forest.

For family reunions, office groups and small parties looking for somewhere and something different, a way of celebrating the season in exclusive fashion, A Hint of the Forest is it – the cherry on the cake of pre-Christmas celebration opportunities in Cumbria.
