Windscale have been stopped from travelling for tonight’s Wearside League game.
Earlier today the Silksworth Colliery Welfare pitch was declared unplayable because of the frozen conditions.
The west Cumbrians have climbed to fourth in the table and were looking to improve by continuing their good run of form against a side 12th in the table.
Windscale are six points behind Gateshead Leam Rangers with a game in hand.
Weather permitting Windscale will resume on Saturday with a home game against Farringdon Detached who are eighth but only three points behind their hosts in a crowded top half of the table.
