People have been flying over a protected area of land without permission.
They were using a paramotor – a harnessed powered paraglider – at Duddon Estuary, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is protected due to the flora and fauna.
People flying a paramotor are subject to rules of the air and further information can be found online at the Civil Aviation Authorities website.
