The West Cumberland Sunday League held the final fixtures before the seasonal shutdown – but only two games survived the wet weather.
The league will resume on January 7 with hopefully more games being played to start 2024.
In the Premier Division leaders Parkside were given a test by Moresby Rangers before taking the points 5-3.
Bradley Rooney (2), Dan Williamson, Adam Smith and Andrew Bulman scored the Parkside goals with Lucas Cragie, Matthew Williams and Aaron Hart responding for Moresby.
In Division One Flimby beat The Sun 5-1 with goals from Scott Underwood (2), Lee Birks, Dylan Turner and Karl Fillingham.
Sean Rickerby scored the consolation goal for The Sun.
