
Kendal Town are back in action tonight with a North West Counties Premier Division game at Squire’s Gate.
The Mintcakes have had their last two games postponed at leaders Wythenshawe and at home to fourth-placed Prestwich Heys.
Kendal lie sixth in the table, and looking to re-launch their title challenge after a great start to the season while Squire’s Gate are third from bottom.
Although they were unable to play a competitive game on Saturday the Kendal squad got in a good training session at Myerscough College.
Manager Jimmy Marshall has also added young winger Lewis Ramsay to his squad after a number of good performances with the club’s Under-23s team.
He has been signed on dual registration from the amateur club Endmoor who have been very co-operative in the arrangement.
There was one result to celebrate at the week-end for Kendal when their Ladies team beat St Anne’s Ladies 2-0 with a brace from Aimee Garnett.
