Carlisle City missed out on their game with struggling Sunderland RCA last night when the game was called off.
The weather in the North East is still pretty grim and of 12 scheduled fixtures in the Northern League only three were played.
Carlisle City lie 10th in the table with ambitions to make the top five while Sunderland RCA are next to bottom with only a point gained, like the bottom side Tow Low.
Penrith are due in action tonight with a trip to Boro Rangers, which will be a deal tougher than Saturday’s 12-0 romp against Tow Low.
Darren Edmondson’s side lie 16th, with hopes of reaching the top half of the table while Boro Rangers are sixth, some 11 points better off than the Cumbrians.
Back in August Penrith were 2-1 winners against Boro Rangers in an extra preliminary round FA Cup-tie which was played at Carlisle City’s Gillford Park ground.
