
Workington Victoria closed the local pigeon show season with a class of 53.
It was Victoria’s show race for the 2024 season with Marlborough old birds the proposed liberation, and there will be £150 to race for.
Andrew Edgar of Keswick was the judge and the class was for any age cock or hen.

The Carter family from the Harrington Central club took first prize and tickets were awarded as follows: 1, Mr and Mrs Carter and sons; 2, 8, Evans and Abraham; 3, 7, Williams and Hadfield; 4, Martindale and Lawman; 5, McLuckie bros; 6, D. Harrison and son.
Victoria secretary Les Blacklock said: “The club would just like to thank those who entered and were kind enough to give special prizes.”
