Former Carlisle professional Justin Greaves has picked up his first wickets in Test cricket.
Although West Indies appear to be heading for a heavy defeat in Adelaide the Barbadian can look back on an eventful debut.
Greaves, who made five in his first Test innings, then caught Steve Smith when Australia replied.
He then took the wickets of Usman Khawaja and Alex Carey, while also taking a second catch to dismiss Mitchell Marsh.
When Australia were bowled out for 283, Greaves had bowled 15 overs and taken 2-36.
It meant the hosts had a first innings lead of 95 but the West Indies were struggling at the end of the second day on 73-6.
Greaves was out for 24 off the last ball of the day with the West Indies still 22 runs away from an innings defeat on 73-6.
The 29-year-old Greaves was pro at Carlisle in 2015 and again in 2017 and did well both seasons with bat and ball.
