Kendal Town have re-signed one of their former strikers in Matt Dudley.
He has been playing for North West Counties rivals Ramsbottom United and has bagged 19 goals already this season.
Dudley will join the squad for Saturday’s trip to the Isle of Man as Jimmy Marshall’s men try to get back to winning ways after the disappointing 4-3 defeat at the week-end against Lower Breck.
Of Dudley, manager Marshall said: “”He’s technically superb and is also a great lad off the field, so we know he will fit straight in with our current group of players.”
He actually scored both Ramsbottom’s goals when they won 2-1 at Kendal earlier in the season.
Dudley came through the youth academy of Preston North End and after leaving Preston he spent time over in America where he played for Oakland University.
Back in the UK he has played for Bamber Bridge, Kendal and Northwich Victoria before joining Ramsbottom in the summer.
