A Lake District hotel has installed stunning steel sculptures in its grounds as part of a new arts programme.

The Haweswater Hotel is launching the free series with a range of sculptures from Rob Faherty.

It hopes to attract visitors and locals to its grounds to see them.

Renata Fernandes, business partner at the hotel and curator of the art programme, said: “It is a historic moment for the hotel as it is the first time we have held an outdoor art exhibition.

“Rob has created a bespoke sculpture for us, the trout – it looks incredible with the Haweswater reservoir as the background.”

All sculptures at the hotel are also available for sale.
