
A large amount of jewellery was stolen in a Carlisle burglary.
It took place in the Burnfoot Grove area of St Ann’s on Friday January 19 at around 6pm.
Among the items stolen were:
- Next gold plated watch
- Ann Klein gold watch with small diamante stones around the strap
- Sekonda watch and matching bracelet in rose gold
- Yellow gold oval locket and chain
- 9ct gold sapphire ring with small diamonds.
- 9ct gold wedding band, gold band with textured edges.
- 9ct gold Celtic ring
- Yellow and white gold engagement ring with 3 diamonds, engraved with the initials GDW and AS, and a date in December 1950
- Silver oval locket with small blue stone.
- 9ct yellow gold fine belcher chain – about 18 inches in length.
- 9ct yellow gold rope chain, about 18 inches in length
- Silver heart brooch
- Silver drop earrings with lilac stone.
- Mackintosh-style 9ct gold fine chain with red stone.
- 9ct gold chain with small ruby.
- 9ct gold herringbone flat necklace and matching bracelet.
- Silver sparkly ball earrings with a folding fastener at the back
A slim man, carrying a white bag, with his hood up, was seen walking away from the scene of the offence at about 6.40pm, turning on to Hartley Avenue.
