Carlisle United have rearranged their postponed game with Cheltenham for near the end of the season.
Called off on Friday to prevent Carlisle from travelling, Saturday’s postponed game would have been the proverbial six-pointer for sides marooned in the bottom four.
Both will be hoping that by Tuesday, April 9 when the game will be played that they are clear of the relegation trapdoor.
But Cheltenham slipped to another defeat last night, going down 1-0 at Bolton who are due to visit Brunton Park on Saturday.
However, victories for Exeter at Bristol Rovers and Reading at home to Derby have put more pressure on Paul Simpson’s United.
The Blues are now ten points from safety with only Fleetwood below them in the League One table.
Back to the Cheltenham game, tickets purchased for Saturday’s original clash will be valid for the rearranged fixture.
If anyone purchased tickets for the original game but can no longer attend on the new date they should contact the ticket office on 0330 094 5930 option 1 or email [email protected]
