Cumbria’s three professional clubs will find out their Challenge Cup opponents on Monday night.
The third and fourth round draws will both take place at 6.30pm on Monday night, streamed live on BBC iPlayer as well as the BBC Sport website and app.
The draws are being staged at the home of Widnes Vikings – the DCBL Stadium – when three former club stars will be involved in the draws.
David Hulme, Mike O’Neill and the 1984 Lance Todd Trophy winner Joe Lydon will be involved and will also reminisce about Widnes’ victory in the Challenge Cup final that particular game 40 years ago.
Widnes, along with the other 12 English-based Championship sides and all nine from League One will enter the competition for the first time at round three.
Cumbria, of course, could have four clubs represented in the third round draw as Wath Brow Hornets are involved in Saturday’s second round with a trip to Hull Dockers.
The draw for the fourth round of the competition will take place immediately after the one for round three.
