Barrow Raiders are the only Cumbrian side with a home draw in the third round of the Betfred Challenge Cup.
They will host League One title favourites Oldham, now coached by Sean Long and who have spent heavily in the winter months.
The other three Cumbrian clubs must travel in the third round with tough games in prospect.
League One Workington Town were drawn at Championship side Batley Bulldogs; Whitehaven must travel to fellow Championship side Halifax Panthers while Wath Brow have been drawn at fellow amateurs Stanningley.
The games will be played on the week-end of February 10/11 and the fourth round ties will be played a fortnight later, February 24/25.
The fourth round draw sees the possibility of home ties for both Workington and Whitehaven if they can get through.
If Town win at Batley they will be at home to the winners of Midlands Hurricanes and Rochdale while Whitehaven will fancy their chances if they can get past Halifax.
They will be at home to the winners of the amateur showdown in London between Hammersmith and West Warriors.
Barrow, if they get past Oldham, must travel to the winners of Swinton and West Hull.
Wath Brow could face the longest trip of all if they win at Stanningley as Cornwall are possible fourth round hosts. The Choughs will have to beat National Conference side York Acorn to make progress.
