
Heavy rain and some flooding is expected to hit Cumbria today.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the county from noon today until 5pm tomorrow.
It added that rain may become prolonged and heavy at times during Monday afternoon and evening, easing from the west overnight.

Around 20 to 30mm of rain will fall widely across Cumbria with 40 to 50mm likely on higher ground. Some flooding and impacted travel is likely.

- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
