Cleator Moor Celtic have made the best possible start to their defence of the West Division’s Veterans League.
They started this week with a 7-0 win against Thornhill Bulls as Craig Padley (2), Gary George (2), Robert Fowler, Gareth McCarron and Glen Meagan found the net.
However, that scoreline was matched by St Benedict’s who beat Borough by the same 7-0 score-line.
In the other opening fixture Senhouse Street were 6-1 winners against Flimby Social.
Aspatria, Cockermouth, Moor Row and Seaton still have to play their opening games.
