A section of the road at Devil’s Bridge has collapsed.
The road was closed this morning, Monday, May 27, closure is between Devil’s Bridge and the A65.
The A683 was closed between there and the A65.
The A65 was unaffected.
Workers from United Utilities and Westmorland and Furness Council’s highways have been working to repair the road today, but it is not clear how long the repairs will take.
