
A man in his 70s has been targeted by doorstep traders who overcharged him for simple gardening work.
It happened on May 16 and May 17 in the Winscale Way area of Carlisle.
The investigation relates to four men using a black Transit-style van with a Class decal. They are also using a white flatbed truck with Yewtree or Maple decals.
Officers are requesting that anyone who has used this service, or is aware of any information relating to it, to call police in 101 and ask to speak to DC 2920 Clay.
