
The West Cumbria Fours League, sponsored by Whitehaven Trophies, had a top versus second on Friday night.
The big game was at Whitehaven where the home club’s A team, lying second in the table, entertained the leaders Workington A.
The result was a 5-2 win for the visitors who now lead the table by nine points from Maryport, who continued their good start to the season. They enjoyed a 6-1 home win against Seaton.
