Four people have been arrested after a handbag was stolen from a West Cumbrian shop.
The bag was taken from a store on King Street in Whitehaven.
Police received the report at around 1.25pm today, Thursday May 30.
Three men, aged 32, 41 and 53, have been arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation.
A 48-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of breach of a court order.
All four remain in police custody.
