Three Lake District beauty spots have appeared in a poll of Britain’s most stunning views.
Windermere bagged the top spot in the list of 25 views, produced by a survey in which they picked their favourite scenic spots.
Thirty-six per cent voted Windermere as the best view. Buttermere and Scafell Pike, each getting 21 per cent, were joint seventh, along with Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, Durdle Door in Dorset, and the Peak District view from Stanage Edge.
