Barrow Raiders head coach Paul Crarey has named his 21-man squad to travel to York this weekend for what looks an evenly-balanced League One clash.
Wigan Warriors trio Ryan Brown, Jacob Douglas, and Harvey Makin return to the fold, as does Leigh Leopards loanee Kavan Rothwell. As a result Delaine-Gittens Bedward, Blaine Marwood, Ryan Shaw and Tom Walker all drop out this week
The two sides head into the clash level on 10 points, with the North Yorkshire outfit boasting a better points difference than the Raiders.
Paul Crarey’s men clinched two points over the Knights in a 15-14 victory in the reverse fixture at the Northern Competitions Stadium back in April, courtesy of a Brad Walker drop goal, and his side will gear up for another tough battle.
The Knights have won two games out of three since Mark Applegarth took over as head coach with the only defeat so far last week’s 18-10 defeat to Sheffield Eagles.
Applegarth has made one change to his 21-man squad, with the inclusion of forward AJ Towse after recovering from injury.
Towse replaces Jack Potter in the preliminary squad. They also have Rugby League World’s Betfred Championship Player of the Month Ata Hingano fit and firing.
The men’s fixture away at the LNER Community Stadium will form the second part of a double-header, as the Barrow Ladies take to the stage against York Valkyries at noon.
