Carlisle United have announced the launch of their own new streaming service, CUTV.

Powered by Endeavor Streaming’s Vesper platform, CUTV will replace the iFollow platform and will enable the club to stream events such as press conferences and fans’ forums on its own TV service.

CUTV will be the place to watch United matches for international fans, and fans based in the UK will also be able to watch live games when they are available for domestic streaming. This will continue to be a pay-per-view service.

There will also be a monthly subscription priced at £4.99 a month, which will give fans exclusive access to manager and player interviews, extended match highlights, full match replays, training content, pitch-side match footage and much more. Further details will follow as the content develops.

Short match highlights and post-match manager interviews will continue to be available for free on the club’s social media channels.

Carlisle United chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: “The development of our own streaming service and new content powered by Endeavor Streaming’s Vesper platform is a significant development for the club.

“It opens a huge number of potential opportunities to us for the first time. This is an exciting time and we look forward to working with Endeavor Streaming as we bring the new service to our fans.

“The initial launch is just the beginning, the service will allow us to produce live pre and post-match shows, stream events such as friendlies and forums and even more. These are being planned now for the upcoming season, starting with exclusive content from the pre-season camp at St Andrews this week.

“After the launch of the club’s new website, this is another really exciting step on our new digital journey and we are looking forward to seeing where it will take us.”

Digital content manager Amy Nixon said: “The team at Endeavor have been great to work with throughout this process.

“We have chosen a platform which matches our future ambitions and will enable us to continue to improve the club’s digital output.

“Fans will see an initial improvement from the iFollow service from last season, but this is only the start, and we are excited to see where CUTV can take us.”

Fred Santarpia, president at Endeavor Streaming, said: “Direct to consumer services represent a significant opportunity for clubs like Carlisle United to reach new audiences worldwide, while also deepening their relationship with loyal fans who are seeking more interaction beyond the traditional matchday experience.

“Endeavor Streaming continues to be at the forefront on supporting football clubs on their digital expansion.”
