The pillion passenger on a motorcycle has died following a two-vehicle collision on the A684.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision on the A684 junction with the M6 at 2.40pm yesterday, July 28.
It involved a grey Audi A3 and a Kawasaki motorcycle. The pillion passenger on the motorcycle died at scene.
The rider of the motorcycle was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The occupants of the Audi were taken to hospital to be checked over.
The road was closed whilst a forensic collision investigation was carried out.
