As part of an investigation into a number of reported burglaries in Barrow between May and last month, police are appealing for information to help with the investigation.

Darren Hughes and Lisa Beattie, of Low White Close, Barrow, have been charged with various offences in connection to the burglaries and are due to appear at Preston Crown Court on August 21.

A number of items have been recovered during the investigation, which are suspected to have been stolen locally.

These include watches:

  • 1 TAG Heuer
  • 1 US Polo Association
  • 1 Spirit
  • 1 Orlando
  • 1 Smartwatch

Police said they would like to identify the owners of the above items, with a view to progressing the investigation, and are asking people to check if they are missing any watches of this make and to come forward to police if they suspect their item may have been stolen.
