Barrow Raiders have announced the addition of five new directors to the board.
Andrew Bache, Keith Jackson and Rupert Pritchard were voted onto the board by the club’s members at the recent EGM while Suzy Garnett and John Hesketh were co-opted onto the board at a recent board meeting.
Andrew is a retired finance director with experience in accountancy; Keith is a former auditor with the local council and Rupert works at BAE Systems, with experience in business development and project and programme management.
Suzy is the owner of local film company Redrock Productions, and has extensive experience in media and marketing, while John joins from Swinton Lions and has a wealth of experience managing the North West region’s Deaf Society and is a perfect fit to work closely with the Advantage! Barrow Raiders Community Foundation, the club said.
The new directors will join chairs Steve Neale and Jayne Stewart as the board in general prepare and build up to the club’s 150th anniversary in 2025.
