A former reserve with Workington Comets, Celina Liebmann produced an unbeaten performance to win the Women’s British Open Final at Leicester.
Liebmann, who spent the majority of the season riding for Workington in the Cab Direct Championship, won her four qualifying rides at the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena, Beaumont Park and then took the honours in the final.
Teagan Pedler finished in second place with Katie Gordon third after Rachel Hellowell fell on the first lap of the final.
The German rider had been signed by the Comets for their return to Championship racing but was replaced in the side at reserve by Paul Starke at the end of July.
