The A595 was closed near Whitehaven after a collision this afternoon.
Copeland police said the A595 was blocked near the Pelican garage/Aikbank Road today, Wednesday, September 18.
Drivers were urged to avoid the the area while it was made safe and the road reopened at around 4.20pm.
