A major solar farm which would provide energy for around 45,000 homes is proposed for a site in West Cumbria.
RWE wants to erect the farm, plus battery storage, alongside the A595 between Little Clifton and Branthwaite.
Called Lostrigg Solar, the energy firm now wants to know what people think and is holding information sessions across the area.
Because the farm would generate over 50MW of electricity, the plan has to be approved by the Government, rather than Cumberland Council, as it is classed a nationally significant project.
The firm said it believed the process would take between two and three years and it intended to submit its application in autumn 2025. If approved, work would begin in spring 2027.

Information drop-in sessions will be held:
Saturday September 28, Bridgefoot Village Hall, 11am to 3pm
Thursday October 3, Hunday Manor Hotel, 2pm to 7pm
Friday, October 4, Kirkstile Community Centre, Dean, 2pm to 7pm
