Carlisle United have added to their squad with free agent Tyler Burey on a short-term deal until January.
The Hillingdon-born 23-year-old started his career at AFC Wimbledon before moving to Millwall.
He made his Championship debut for Millwall aged just 19, coming on as a late substitute against Huddersfield.
He made 15 appearances for the Lions the following season before making a loan move to Hartlepool where he played seven times.
He scored in three consecutive games for the North East side, including one against Carlisle.
Burey went on to make 58 appearances for Millwall scoring three times and was named their young player of the years in season 2020/21.
He then linked-up with the Danish Superliga side OB Odense but only made six appearances, going on loan to Oxford (5 games) during the second half of last season.
He was registered in time for this afternoon’s game at home to Harrogate and came on from the bench after 64 minutes.
Head coach Mike Williamson: “We’re pleased to have Tyler in with us. He’s an exciting player with pace and he feels as though he’s got something to prove.
“He’s been in training with us for a while so he was ready to go straight into the squad.”
