A Cumbrian baker will release her first book later this month.
Sarah Samuels, who ran a cafe in Cockermouth, has 16,000 social media followers thanks to her blog Sarah’s Slice.
She began the blog during COVID and has not looked back.
What all started with wanting to create a perfect malt loaf during lockdown evolved into a booming blog bringing scrumptious sweets into the home of thousands.
The Sarah’s Slice cookbook includes her blog’s flapjack recipe to ones from her Grandma Nora’s 100-year-old handwritten recipe book.
Over 80 easy to follow savoury and sweet recipes are across nine chapters feature in Sarah’s Slice.
Sarah’s Slice will be published on October 24.
