Home draw for Carlisle City in FA Vase

Carlisle City have a home draw in the second round of the FA Vase.

Following Saturday’s fine 1-0 win at Guisborough, City have drawn another fellow Northern League side Blyth Town but at home.

Blyth were promoted last season and are making a go of it in Division One, currently second in the table.

They are actually 20 points better off than City who currently lie 15th in the table.

But City already hold a verdict over their Blyth opponents, winning 3-2 earlier in he season, one of only two defeats suffered by their opponents.

Thw Northern half of the draw is:

  1. Northallerton Town v Crook Town
  2. Hallam v New Mills
  3. Ryton & Crawcrook Albion v West Didsbury & Chorlton
  4. Abbey Hey v Atherton LR
  5. Winsford United v Darwen
  6. Ashton Town v FC Hartlepool
  7. Silsden v Ramsbottom United
  8. Wakefield or North Shields v Charnock Richard
  9. Ashville v Wombwell Town
  10. Whickham v Redcar Athletic
  11. Carlisle City v Blyth Town
  12. Albion Sports v Padiham
  13. South Liverpool v Chadderton
