Workington Town are doing it differently this year, announcing all their new recruits in one go.
It’s been traditional for local clubs like Workington and Whitehaven to ‘drip-feed’ their new signings during the autumn and winter months.
This time, however, Town have kept everything back and will reveal all their new signings, and more, at a special evening at the Fibrus Community Stadium on Friday, November 15 at 6.30pm.
Town are known to have reached double figures in their recruitment and all will be attending the special introduction next week.
New coach Jonty Gorley has expressed his satisfaction at the new arrivals, although says that possibly a new forward and an outside back will be added before the start of the League One campaign.

One outside back who won’t be joining Town is Joe Hartley, who ended the season with Workington.
The former Oldham, Rochdale and Town winger has scored 23 tries in 50 career games but has now joined Hunslet, surprise winners of the play-off game against Swinton to reach the Championship.
Gorley will be taking questions from the audience after the new signings have been revealed.
Also on the agenda for November 15 will be an announcement over new partners backing the club and the 2025 home kit will be unveiled.
