A group of young Cumbrian dancers will perform in Dubai next week at a major international conference.
Members of Razzamataz South Lakes will take to the stage at GESS Dubai, following an invitation from the UK Trade Mission.
The students will be supported by the wider Razzamataz team who have been invited to join the expert panel of speakers at the Leaders in Education Conference, sharing their 25 years’ experience working with young people and share what strategies have been successful in the UK.
Asha Richardson, principal of Razzamataz South Lakes, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to offer our students this amazing opportunity in Dubai. The performing arts are a powerful vehicle for personal growth, helping young people discover their strengths, build resilience, and develop a sense of belonging.
“This experience will be truly transformative for them, allowing them to perform on a global stage while also enjoying the many cultural and fun experiences that Dubai has to offer.”
