Two men have been arrested after the theft of a quad bike in north Cumbria.
Cumbria police’s Rural Crime Team said they arrested the men in Carlisle yesterday, Wednesday December 31, in connection with the theft at Dalston.
They were bailed while enquiries continue.
The team said they searched three properties and seized a vehicle as part of their investigation.
The team said: “There’s been a fantastic response from our local rural communities to this theft, and we’re really grateful for all the information and CCTV that has been shared so far.”
One of the men was in breach of a restraining order and was charged and remanded.
