The A66 will remain closed due to snow.
National Highways closed the road in both directions from Penrith to Scotch Corner on Saturday January 4 at 10.30pm due to the weather forecast.
It said yesterday, Sunday January 5, that it will remain closed as snow continues to fall in the area.
