Three Carlisle roads will be closed overnight so work can be carried out.
Traffic islands and lights will be removed from Botchergate, The Crescent, and Court Square as part of the Southern Gateway project.
The roads will be closed today, Sunday January 12 from 6pm to 6am and tomorrow Monday January 13 from 9pm to 6am.
Temporary traffic lights and pedestrian crossings will be in place for safety during kerb alignment work.
